Boots and JTV expand TikTok Shop operations as Best Buy prepares 10,000-product launch

Boots launched a No7-focused TikTok Shop on 28 September with LIVE shopping and THG handling fulfilment, while JTV expanded its weekly TikTok Shop live schedule from 30 to 56 hours. Best Buy plans nearly 10,000 products for late October, with orders fulfilled and eligible returns handled by the retailer.

Boots opened its TikTok Shop on 28 September with a curated selection of No7 skincare and beauty products and a launch-day LIVE shopping event. Boots says THG Ingenuity is providing the setup, live-shopping and social-commerce operation, with THG Fulfil handling fulfilment. The 55% year-on-year growth figure cited for TikTok Shop LIVE sales comes from TikTok's own internal data rather than an independent retail measurement.

On the same day, JTV began a weeklong TikTok Shop event running through 4 October. The jewellery retailer says it increased its live schedule from a typical 30 hours to 56 hours for the week, alongside creator appearances, original video, new product launches and giveaways. Those hours are a company-announced programming plan, not a measure of sales performance.

Best Buy is tying TikTok purchases to its retail operations

Best Buy plans to open its TikTok Shop in late October with nearly 10,000 products including headphones, cameras, laptops, small appliances and accessories. Shoppers will be able to buy through creator videos, Best Buy's shop page, TikTok's shop tab and in-app product pages. Best Buy says it will fulfil those orders itself and accept eligible returns in stores or by mail. The retailer already operates a creator programme with commission-earning storefronts, so the TikTok launch adds in-app checkout to a creator-commerce system that Best Buy already manages outside the platform.

The operating model is spreading across retailers

M&S had already launched a UK TikTok Shop pilot in November 2025 with creator content, selected beauty products and planned LIVE shopping sessions. Boots' launch, JTV's expanded live schedule and Best Buy's upcoming catalogue now extend the same basic model across beauty, jewellery and consumer electronics in the UK and United States.

The announcements establish operational commitment, not a platform-wide shift in retail sales. Boots' LIVE-growth figure is TikTok internal data, JTV has published a schedule rather than audited sales results, and Best Buy has not yet opened its shop. None of the companies has shown that TikTok Shop is replacing its own ecommerce channel or disclosed a common performance measure that would let the launches be compared directly.
