Trenz's 25 September commerce radar attributed 96.1% of $18,069.62 in daily GMV for Pacsun's Kaia Ultimate Low Rise Baggy Jeans to one creator, @jer, whose account had about 12,800 followers. The following day's radar attributed 92.1% of $11,467 in daily GMV for Craftikit's Kids Coloring Sherpa Blanket to one early-childhood educator account with about 32,900 followers.
The same data provider recorded a similar, less extreme case on 9 September: 81.7% of $5,745.63 in daily GMV for a men's fleece jacket was attributed to one creator. The three snapshots cover unrelated products and creators, so they show that the concentration pattern appeared more than once this month rather than establishing how common it is across TikTok Shop.
TikTok confirms sales, not Trenz's attribution
TikTok Shop's public Pacsun listing shows more than 11,000 units sold for the Kaia jeans, while Craftikit's public shop shows more than 6,000 units sold for the sherpa blanket. Those counters establish substantial product activity on the platform.
TikTok's public pages do not expose the daily GMV or creator-share calculations reported by Trenz. Trenz says its radar combines product, creator, content and shop signals and refreshes them from current market data, but it does not publish a platform-level audit that independently validates each attribution. The 96.1%, 92.1% and 81.7% shares therefore remain third-party measurements.
A daily spike is a concentration signal, not a causal claim
Creator-attributed GMV does not prove that one account caused every purchase associated with it, and a one-day spike can diversify as other affiliate videos accumulate. The useful measurement is concentration itself: a seller can have meaningful platform sales while a large share of one day's measured revenue is associated with a single creator.
Establishing a durable TikTok Shop pattern would require the concentration to persist across several days and to appear in additional seller, platform or independent commerce data. Until then, the Trenz snapshots support a narrow conclusion about three measured breakouts, not a general claim that microcreators dominate TikTok Shop sales.
