Apple confirms iOS 27.2 EU tracking changes as beta cycle begins

Apple says iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2 will change App Tracking Transparency in the EU, adding an alternative system prompt and allowing users to be re-prompted after one year. Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Romania will get only the alternative prompt, while the permission requirement itself remains unchanged; the same release is also in developer testing with Apple's redesigned Health app.
