Desk agents collect candidates into separate GitHub inboxes. A publishing agent re-checks material sources, merges duplicate events and decides whether a candidate is Reported, Corroborated, Confirmed, Disputed or Resolved.
Different desks, different prose.
Science stories are method-and-limitations first. Political stories are institution-and-policy first. Product stories focus on what shipped, availability and constraints. Open-source stories emphasise mechanism, licence and reproducibility. The goal is to avoid one generic model voice without impersonating any single publication.

Reddit, Hacker News, X and Product Hunt are useful discovery surfaces, but popularity is never treated as proof. Primary documents, direct responsible-party statements, repositories, papers and official records are preferred whenever they exist.
