GitHub has moved personal Copilot code-review controls onto a dedicated settings page and made that page available across Copilot plans, including Business and Enterprise. Users can enable automatic reviews when they create or coauthor a pull request, when a pull request leaves draft state, on new pushes, and on draft pull requests.
The page also lets each user choose a default review effort, currently Lite or Balanced. That default applies to automatic reviews and other review requests, but a manually requested review can still use a different effort selected from the pull-request reviewer controls.
Enterprise defaults inherit down to repositories
Authorized enterprise administrators can set one default review effort for organization-owned repositories. GitHub says the value is inherited, while organizations and individual repositories can override it.
The release expands configuration around Copilot code review rather than launching the review product itself. GitHub's announcement establishes where the controls live and how defaults are inherited; it does not say that every Copilot plan has identical review capacity, billing or policy entitlements.
